On February 9 and 10, the first Technical Committee of the RECI of this 2023 will take place. The event will take place in Logroño and will feature a first public session in which key companies and stakeholders in the sector are invited to participate and learn first-hand about the most relevant cutting-edge trends and topics for smart cities and the good practices they have carried out from the municipalities in these areas. The second day is focused on the technical staff of the member cities of the RECI.
The City Council of Logroño will celebrate the first public day at the Espacio Lagares.

The Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI)RECI began to take shape in June 2011 with the signing of the 'Manifesto for Smart Cities. Innovation for progress', whose commitment was to create an open network to promote the economic, social and business progress of cities through innovation and knowledge, relying on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). After the founding session, held in Logroño, and two organizational sessions of the working groups in A Coruña and Murcia, the Network was formally constituted in June 2012 in Valladolid. RECI is currently chaired by Pablo Hermoso de Mendoza, Mayor of Logroño.
